Great for a car journey February 8, 2009 Ann (Staffordshire) 11 out of 11 found this review helpful
Excellent game to take with you in the car to keep the kids happy for a bit. Not nearly as boring as I spy! By getting them to spot the things on their cards, they start looking at what's outside their window and noticing the landscape rather than staring at a screen. Can get very competitive!
A brilliant game that shortens the journey by miles ! July 19, 2009 Mrs. C. M. Putt (West Sussex, England) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
This is a brilliant game that can be for all the family. My grandchildren are 10 and 8 so can read the cards but I have bought two more for my other children who are much younger but can recognize the pictures. It made a long journey considerably shorter and even more fun when played in teams. Thoroughly recommend it !
Banish boring car journeys February 20, 2010 chocolate fairy (Northamptonshire, UK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have had this game for a few years and have also bought it for friends. To get around the problem of not being able to spot certain items on some types of journey (eg you don't see many guesthouses on the motorway) we tend to play as a family. The eldest passenger holds around five cards and as soon as anyone spots one, another card replaces it. The challenge is to see how much of the pack you can get through in one journey. When playing this way children much younger than the recommended age of 6 can play - our 4 year old has been playing for a couple of years.
Peace at last......! April 30, 2009 margole (Inverness Scotland) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
My 4 year old son really likes this game. It is similar to eye spy but is easier for young children as the images to be looked for are visual on cards.
It is also possible to play as a card game with older children as each card has a points value depending on the difficulty.
Would certainly recommend this - even for short journeys.
Great for long journeys April 30, 2010 L. Marshall 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought these cards for my son (aged 7) and my daughter (aged 5) to use whilst on a long car / train journey. They worked well and kept them occupied for quite a while although not all items are suitable for motorway driving but with a bit of parental sorting the game ticked along quite nicely. There are quite a few cards so I was able to use them for a few journeys. The bright tin is useful to ensure that they don't get lost in amongst all the other baggage that's in the car !
